A BBC consultant
Kevin Mullin is a BBC consultant, appearing regularly across the BBC as a voice on anxiety — the same thinking the whole team works from.
This is our route for trauma, grief, low mood, confidence, fears, sleep problems and unwanted habits or behaviours. The work is practical and structured, drawn from psychology and hypnotherapy, and it starts with a £40 consultation that is deducted from your therapy package if you go ahead.
Glasgow, Ayr, Liverpool and online worldwide. Tuesday to Friday, 11am to 8pm UK time.

Different problems, one shape: something that happened, or something you learned to do, is still running. The work is on the pattern rather than on the retelling of it.
We use methods drawn from psychology and hypnotherapy, structured so the work reaches an end rather than running on. You are not asked to relive anything to prove it happened, and nothing about the approach depends on you being able to explain why you feel the way you do.
Thirty minutes, £40, with one of our therapists. You leave with a clear picture of what working together would look like — and you carry on only if it fits. The fee is deducted from your therapy package if you go ahead.
What we would work on, in what order, and how we would know it was working. The number of sessions is agreed with you at the consultation rather than assumed in advance, because it depends on what you bring.
Structured work, session by session, with something to carry between them. Your therapist stays the same one throughout.

No. The work is on the pattern the experience left behind, not on the retelling of it. You share what you want to share, and your therapist will tell you plainly what they need in order to help.
That is agreed with you at the consultation rather than decided in advance, because it depends on what you bring. You will know the plan before you commit to it.
The initial consultation is £40, and it is deducted from your therapy package if you go ahead. Package prices vary with what the work involves, so we discuss them at the consultation rather than publish a figure that would not be yours.
No. It is a focused, ordinary state of attention. You stay aware, you stay in control, and you can stop at any point. It is used here alongside psychology, as one method among several.
Yes. The same structured work runs by video, wherever you are in the world. Choose online on the enquiry form and we will match you with a therapist.
Whichever you choose on the enquiry form — Glasgow, Ayr or Liverpool. Your enquiry goes to a therapist there and a welcome email follows straight away.
Tell us where you are and, if you’d like to, a line about what’s going on. Pick an office in Glasgow, Ayr or Liverpool, or pick online, which we run worldwide. Your message goes to a therapist and a welcome email follows straight away.
We only ask for what we need to reply. Please don’t put health details in here — that conversation belongs in the room.
