The Mullins Method app support and account deletion
For help with the app, privacy questions or an account-deletion request, email support@mullinstherapy.com.
We aim to send an initial reply within five UK business days. Some issues take longer to resolve. This response target does not change the legal deadlines for privacy requests.
Request account deletion without the app
You can request deletion even if you have uninstalled The Mullins Method or cannot sign in. You do not need to reinstall it or create another account.
Email support@mullinstherapy.com with:
- Subject: The Mullins Method — account deletion
- The email address associated with your app account.
- How you normally sign in, such as email/password or Google.
If possible, send the request from the account's email address. If you cannot access that address or are unsure which address you used, tell us. We will arrange an appropriate way to verify ownership before deleting the account. Naming an account in an email does not by itself prove ownership.
Do not send passwords, verification codes, journal entries or identity documents with your initial request. We will explain any necessary verification steps.
We will explain the next steps, process the verified request without undue delay and confirm the outcome. If there is a problem or a lawful reason to retain particular information, we will tell you where we are permitted to do so.
Delete your account in the app
Go to Profile → Privacy and data → Delete account, then follow the identity-verification and confirmation steps.
When deletion completes, your sign-in account, cloud check-ins, journal, reflections, progress, achievements and account-linked consent records are removed. The device completing the request also clears account-specific onboarding preferences, reminders and playback positions.
Completed deletion is permanent. There is no recovery period. If you want a copy of information you have recorded, save it or contact us about access before deleting your account. A progress PDF does not contain every type of information held in your account.
An interrupted request may need a retry or help from support. An error or pending message does not mean deletion has finished.
What deletion does not remove
Deletion does not recall reports you have exported or shared, erase another person's copies, or instantly remove copies from every offline device or device backup.
App-support correspondence is normally kept for six months after the case closes. Provider recovery and security records follow their applicable retention arrangements. Google states that Firebase Authentication removes other authentication information from live and backup systems within 180 days after user deletion is initiated; this is separate from removal of your active app account and cloud wellbeing records. Firebase retention information.
Our app privacy policy explains retention and any applicable legal exceptions in more detail.
Withdraw wellbeing consent
You can withdraw through Profile → Privacy and data.
Withdrawal stops access to wellbeing features and removes saved cloud wellbeing records when the request completes. Your sign-in account and a record of your consent choices remain. You can consent again after removal finishes and start a new wellbeing history, or delete the account completely.
Reports already exported or shared are not removed. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not withdraw consent or delete your cloud account.
Technical help and privacy requests
For a technical issue, tell us whether you use Android or iPhone, your app version if available, and briefly describe what happened. If you send a screenshot, remove personal or wellbeing information first.
You can use the same support address to request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, to object to processing, or to ask a privacy question. We may need to verify your identity.
Urgent help
The Mullins Method and its support mailbox do not provide emergency care or crisis monitoring. The app is a wellbeing and self-help tool for adults aged 18 and over, not a diagnosis or replacement for qualified medical or mental-health care.
If someone's life is at risk, or you cannot keep yourself or someone else safe, call 999 or go to A&E. NHS guidance on urgent mental-health help.
For someone to talk to, Samaritans is free on 116 123, day or night. Contact Samaritans.
Outside the UK, use your local emergency and crisis services. Do not wait for an app-support reply in an emergency.
