Life, without the
overthinking.crippling anxiety.circling arguments.panic.

Negative thoughts, overwhelm, anxiety, panic, and relationship problems run on patterns. We interrupt them — practical methods drawn from psychology and hypnotherapy, structured to reach an end without looking back at the start.

Kevin Mullin founded the practice. Heather, his wife and business partner, built it with him. They have since expanded to Ayr and Liverpool, with a team in each, and to clients online worldwide — so whichever room you walk into, you get the same methods.

Why people choose Mullins.

Structured & fast

Results-focused work with a clear direction from the first session — no drifting, no regression, and no therapy that lasts forever by default.

Real people, in the room

Kevin, Heather, Nicola and Jay — real therapists in real rooms, across Glasgow, Ayr and Liverpool. You’ll know who you’re talking to before you arrive.

A BBC consultant

Kevin is a BBC consultant, appearing regularly across the BBC as a voice on anxiety — the same thinking you’ll hear in the room.

The questions people usually have

It is structured and it is meant to end. At your first consultation we agree what better would actually look like for you, then work toward it deliberately, session by session — so you always know why we are doing what we are doing. We focus on looking forward, not backwards.

Anxiety HIT Treatment is our own programme for anxiety, panic and overthinking. It works on the pattern the feeling runs on rather than the feeling alone, using practical methods drawn from psychology and hypnotherapy. It runs at our Glasgow, Ayr, Liverpool offices, and online.

Anxiety HIT runs as either four or six sessions, and every treatment session is 45 minutes. Couples work runs in 45-minute sessions too, with the number agreed at your consultation rather than fixed in advance. The consultation itself is 30 minutes. We do not keep people in therapy indefinitely — the aim is to reach the point where you no longer need us, and we would rather tell you that early than string it out.

Yes. Couples and relationship therapy is one of our three services, alongside anxiety work and our work on trauma and confidence. It is for the argument on repeat, the growing distance and the things that are hard to say — worked through together, practically.

Yes. Online therapy is the same structured work delivered by video, wherever you are in the world. People choose it when travelling to an office is difficult, when they would rather do this from home, or when their week does not hold still long enough to plan around.

It is one of the methods, not the whole of it. We draw on psychology and hypnotherapy together, and use whichever suits what you have come in with. Nobody is put through anything they have not agreed to, and you are in control throughout.

Tuesday to Friday, 11am to 8pm, at all three offices (Glasgow, Ayr and Liverpool), with the final appointment before closing. Enquiries are routed to the therapist for your office, and appointments are booked by the team rather than shown as a live diary.

No. There is nothing you can say that we have not heard, and nothing we will judge you for. The thoughts that feel shameful at 3am are usually the most common ones we work with. You will be met with practicality and warmth, not a raised eyebrow.

Start here

Send a note. The right therapist reads it.

Tell us where you are and, if you’d like to, a line about what’s going on. Pick an office in Glasgow, Ayr or Liverpool, or pick online, which we run worldwide. Your message goes to a therapist and a welcome email follows straight away.

Would you rather talk? Call Glasgow on 07393 675083, Ayr on 07956 034432, or Liverpool on 07951 155559.

New enquiry

Your first 30-minute consultation is free. Your pricing for therapy will be discussed at your consultation.

Please don’t put health details in here — that conversation belongs in the room.

One conversation could change the shape of things.

Our commitment

We help people move beyond anxiety and rebuild stronger relationships — using practical methods drawn from psychology and hypnotherapy, and working toward real results rather than endless sessions. That is what each of us signs up to, in every room and on every call.
