Terms & Conditions
What you are agreeing to when you enquire or book, written plainly rather than in the usual language.

What this website is
This site describes what the practice does and lets you ask for a consultation. It is information, not treatment, and nothing on it is a diagnosis or personal advice.
If you are in crisis or at immediate risk, this website is not the right route. Contact your GP, call NHS 111, or call the Samaritans free on 116 123, at any hour.
The consultation comes first
Everything starts with a 30-minute consultation, which costs £40. If you go ahead, that £40 is deducted from your therapy package. The consultation is where we work out what is going on, whether we are the right people for it, and what the work would involve. Nothing is booked beyond it until you have had it.
Fees for treatment
Fees vary with what you actually need, so they are agreed with you at the consultation rather than set in advance on this page. You will know the cost before you commit to anything, and you will not be asked to pay for a package you have not agreed to.
Klarna is accepted, so the cost can be spread over time rather than paid at once. Payment terms are set by Klarna, not by us.
Changing or cancelling an appointment
If you need to cancel or reschedule your consultation, we ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. If you give less than 48 hours’ notice, or you do not attend, the £40 consultation fee is not refunded.
For treatment sessions after the consultation, we need at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule, by text, phone, email or message. If you give less than 24 hours’ notice, the full session is charged.
What we are, and what we are not
Mullins Therapy is a private practice. We are not registered with a professional therapy body, and nothing here should be read as implying that we are. We do hold professional indemnity insurance.
Therapy is not a guaranteed outcome. We will tell you honestly what we think is achievable and when we think you no longer need us. We would rather say that than keep booking sessions.
Confidentiality, and its limits
What you say in a session stays between you and your therapist. The exceptions are the ones every practice has: where there is a serious risk to you or to someone else, or where the law requires disclosure. Your therapist will explain these at the consultation.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, tell us first. Email hello@mullinstherapy.com. We will respond within 14 days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by UK law: the law of Scotland, or the law of England and Wales, depending on the office you are seen at.
Questions before you book?
Ask them at the consultation, or before it. Nothing is committed until you have had that conversation.
We accept Klarna, so the cost of treatment can be spread over time rather than paid all at once.
